Carrying 5 or more results in a penalty for each hole played.<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Adding\/Replacing Clubs:<\/strong><\/span> If you start with fewer than 4 clubs, you may add clubs up to the limit mid-round. Damaged clubs can be replaced or repaired only if broken through normal play.<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Sharing Restriction:<\/strong><\/span> In an individual tournament, you cannot borrow clubs from another competitor as it breaks your own limit or violates independent play.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Scoring &amp; Penalties<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Standard Scoring:<\/span><\/strong> Played as individual stroke play (lowest total score wins).\u00a0 We will be recognizing for both gross and net scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Opting Out:<\/span> <\/strong>If you choose to opt out of the tournament advise the starters that you will be playing with a full set.\u00a0 The list will then be passed onto the tournament committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Exceeding the Limit:<\/span><\/strong> Adding a 5th club or failing to shed an extra club immediately incurs a penalty of two strokes per hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-bright-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-45b7a7c580c050835a91aa0412b8d0fb wp-block-paragraph\">Gentlemen&#8230;. This does not apply to balls more than three inches from the hole.
